I had the pleasure of attending the Bruce Springsteen concert last Monday night at the Xcel Center in St. Paul. I was invited to view the concert from the Cambria USA suite. My host, Cambria rep Lisa Weck, told us that because their view from the suite is often obstructed by stage lighting (our location gave us a view of Bruce and Co.’s backsides), the company uses the suite for sporting events, but rarely for concerts. However, because of the E Street Band’s unique stage set-up, we were able to see and hear perfectly.
Bruce even circled around the back of the stage several times to wave his guitar at us!
I hadn’t been to a rock concert in DECADES (wow, does that date me!), so this was a total thrill. The music took me right back to my college days – to late nights in Iowa City bars. The sensation was a bit like being haunted by ghosts of my younger, more innocent self. What a night! Thanks so much, Lisa, for giving a memorable time.
By the way, we’ve loved how our recent projects using Cambria countertops have turned out, and so have our clients. Check out their website, www.cambriausa.com
